After four years of vigorous leadership, Dr. Kimberly Dunker is stepping down from her role as Dean of Nursing, Health Science, EMS & Global Health, effective July 1, 2025. 海角视频 has relaunched its Associate of Science in Engineering degree鈥攁nd now, qualified students entering the program will be guaranteed admission into Andrews University鈥檚 Bachelor of Science in Engineering program through a newly signed Guaranteed Admission Agreement.This agreement ensures that eligible PUC engineering students will be accepted into AU鈥檚 BSE program. Nearly 60 years after his passing, Paulin鈥檚 beloved instrument鈥攍ike his legacy鈥攊s a testament to music鈥檚 lasting power to connect generations in praise to Christ. The violin itself is beautiful and unique鈥揳 light golden brown with four strings. The top of the violin, known as the scroll, is carved into the likeness of German composer Felix Mendelssohn. Theology department Chair, Professor, and published author Jim Wibberding is adding to his literary collection a new book, Walking with the Pioneers: The Captivating Story of West Coast Adventism. The book explores traditional Adventist beliefs as they enmeshed and clashed with the landscape and culture of 1800s California. What began as a promising career in the music industry鈥攃omplete with a pop-soul album, an international tour, and the pursuit of fame鈥攖ook a dramatic turn when Tad Worku felt a deeper calling. Now, with a thriving career that blends healthcare, leadership, and music, Tad鈥檚 pursuit lies in spreading hope and healing. 海角视频鈥檚 Theology and Education departments are witnessing a marked increase in enrollment, reflecting a growing student interest in these fields and the college鈥檚 commitment to academic excellence and hands-on experience. This quarter, the Theology department welcomed seven new students, bringing their enrollment to 18 compared to last year鈥檚 11. Similarly, the Education department has experienced a surge, with their total program enrollment reaching nearly 60. A Trend of GrowthBoth departments鈥� chairs expressed excitement and positivity for the rising enrollment numbers. Theology Professor and Department Chair Jim Wibberding explained if this trend continues, the Theology department could easily have 25 students in two years. The seminar series was the brainchild of Aimee Wyrick, dean of the School of Sciences and associate professor in the Department of Biology. She explained that the inspiration behind inviting PUC alumni to speak to current students included the desire to create connections and engage with seasoned perspectives. 鈥淲e wanted to give our current students an idea of what PUC alumni are doing and the great diversity of paths people take once they leave our college,鈥� Wyrick said. 鈥淭he alumni who participate can identify with what current students experience and can provide encouragement and perspective. To support the partnership with AU, PUC has developed a robust curriculum meeting the admission requirements to the DPT program, including specific biology, chemistry, physics, statistics, and psychology classes. 鈥淭he agreement gives PUC students a competitive advantage in that they have clear expectations and receive personal guidance and help to meet those expectations,鈥� says Aimee Wyrick, dean of the School of Sciences.
